PEX, textured PEI or carbon fiber?

PEX plates produce a smooth bottom finish and need material-specific preparation. Textured PEI leaves a textured surface. Carbon-fiber Flexi Plates offer a smooth finish with a subtle pattern and are designed for one-sided use. Read each product’s cleaning, temperature and filament guidance.

Match the exact printer and plate size

Compare plates for selected Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Sovol, QIDI and UltiMaker models. Dimensions, corner cutouts and alignment notches matter. A plate-only listing does not include a magnetic base; XTR and standard components have different specifications.

For larger machines, compare the 365 × 365 mm Prusa XL carbon-fiber plate with the 355 × 325 mm Bambu H2D/H2S textured PEI plate. They are different sizes and are not interchangeable.

Choosing an enclosure

The HotBox and Resin HotBox have different dimensions and access features. Measure the printer’s full movement and accessory clearance. Check ventilation needs and included parts; pictured printers and equipment are not included.

Resin-printing workspace tools

The wall-mounted ULTIM8 DRIP saves bench space, while the tabletop version uses a freestanding base. Both list a 52 mm vat-height limit; compare adjustment range and mounting requirements.
